James Sheridan Contracts Limited operates primarily in the commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance sector. We are currently contracted to work for the UKs largest land management company, some prominent builders and a host of schools, factories and such like. We also participate in the landscaping and maintenance of residential homes through our sister company Golden Homes Landscapes.

We offer a wide range of services in both hard and soft landscaping including the planting and maintenance of trees, hedges and shrubs etc. We sow grass; lay quality turf and more recently we became the Northern Ireland distributors and official installers of Royal Grass, one of the world’s top brands for artificial grass. We can draw up planting plans and schedules through to creative garden designs that incorporate hard and soft landscaping. We do all sorts of woodwork in soft and hard woods including fencing, decking, retainers, raised beds etc. We can supply and install gabions with a variety of infill, wet cast, hydraulically pressed and natural stone paving and walling. Last year we became official installers for a local concrete manufacturer who supply high quality wet pour exposed aggregate surfacing.

We have won awards in the past for best kept sites etc. though more recently we were pleased to be involved with our sister company Golden homes Landscapes who won a silver award in the 2014 Garden Show Ireland. I got quite a bit of exposure as a designer because of my participation in UTVs, The Magazine Garden design competition.

On a more practical note we continue to invest in our staff with in house and out sourced horticultural skills training. We are active in fine tuning our health and safety and environmental obligations, with clear company policies to cover each arena. We also have £10,000,000 pounds of public and £10,000,000 of employers liability insurance.
